Memorial Day with Family, Baseball, and Honoring Heroes 

Memorial Day is a time for reflection and gratitude. This holiday, we were dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country by kicking off the unofficial start of summer. It was a moment to remember, cherish, and celebrate in the company of family.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend; it's a solemn occasion to remember those who have given their lives in service to our nation. Taking a moment of silence, attending a local memorial service, and sharing stories of valor with loved ones was a powerful way to honor these heroes. For many, especially the Nagano family, Memorial Day weekend is synonymous with America's favorite pastime: baseball. There's something uniquely American about cheering for your favorite team, enjoying a hot dog, soaking in the atmosphere of a baseball game, and honoring the local heroes. It was an experience that brought our community together and embodied the spirit of summer.

Taking our family to a baseball game this Memorial Day week brought the sights and sounds of the ballpark, the excitement of the game, and the shared experience of rooting for the Mariners! It created memories that will last a lifetime for our lovely boys. It's also a wonderful way to instill a love of the sport in young generation and celebrate the communal joy that sports bring.
