Cultural Celebrations: In 2024, cultural celebrations like the Japanese Bon Adori (above), which was the first year back after 3 years virtual, have taken on new significance. These festivals are vibrant expressions of tradition and unity and serve as vital reminders of our shared humanity and rich diversity.

Sports and Unity: Sports continue to be a universal language of unity and health here in the Seattle area. This year, with the Seattle Mariners, Kraken, Seahawks, Sounders, and Washington Huskies all having great seasons, they have really brought people together, celebrating not just the spirit of competition but also camaraderie and mutual respect.

Technology for Good: Technological advancements are being harnessed for social good. From apps that support mental health to platforms that connect volunteers with those in need, technology is proving to be a powerful tool in building a more connected and supportive society.
