Taking a moment of silence, attending a local memorial service, and sharing stories of valor with loved ones was a powerful way to honor these heroes. Their sacrifices reminded us of the freedom we enjoy and the responsibilities that come with it.
Family Time
One of the most meaningful ways to celebrate Memorial Day is by spending quality time with family. A backyard barbecue, baseball at the park, and a simple gathering at home with family, these moments created lasting memories and strengthened the bonds that hold us together. It was a perfect time to share stories, laugh, and reflect on the values that make our family and our country strong.
A Day at the Ballpark
For many, especially the Nagano family, Memorial Day weekend is synonymous with America's favorite pastime: baseball. There's something uniquely American about cheering for your favorite team, enjoying a hot dog, soaking in the atmosphere of a baseball game, and honoring the local heroes. It was an experience that brought our community together and embodied the spirit of summer.
Taking our family to a baseball game this Memorial Day week brought the sights and sounds of the ballpark, the excitement of the game, and the shared experience of rooting for the Mariners! It created memories that will last a lifetime for our lovely boys. It's also a wonderful way to instill a love of the sport in young generation and celebrate the communal joy that sports bring.
Reflecting on Values
As we enjoyed these activities, we also reflected on the values that Memorial Day represents: sacrifice, unity, and gratitude. In our own lives and work, we strive to embody these principles. He is very detailed and humble that my husband was hooked and did not want to choose other company although there are other companies with lower bids, but you’ll get what you’ll pay for. Jean and his team did the actual work and they were courteous and always gave us update. They had to climb tall ladder because we have 3 stories house and they did couple patch on our doors and walls.
