I recently had the privilege of doing just that during a Vivid Vision retreat in this breathtaking landscape. Joined by Patrick from Big League Painting, John from Natural Elements Painting, and our coach Thomas from Break Through Academy (BTA), I set out to craft a powerful vision for the future of Arclight Painting. Together, we explored not only the mountains but also our own goals and aspirations, working to align our dreams with the tangible steps needed to bring them to life.
Nature and Vision Align
In between brainstorming and reflection, we took time to explore the breathtaking natural landscapes that the Smoky Mountains had to offer. Standing by a serene waterfall, I was reminded of the steady, transformative power of water—how it shapes and refines over time. Much like how we at Arclight are continually refining our craft, delivering top-quality workmanship that reflects a commitment to excellence.
Each moment in nature reaffirmed our commitment to extreme ownership. Whether trekking up trails or resting on rocks beneath towering trees, we reflected on the importance of embracing accountability and never making excuses. These principles, we realized, are the backbone of our work back home in the painting business.
Vision-Crafting Around the Table
Back at our cabin, our retreat meetings were intense but incredibly productive. Seated around a rustic wooden table, we each shared our visions, with laptops, notes, and ideas sprawled out before us. Each leader brought unique insights from their own business, and together we discussed ways to foster harmony, mutual success, and a sense of family within our teams.
